Jay Mountain Rd
With good sized ricks, water-crossings and washouts this is a really fun ride for intermediate riders. Read more below.
Anthony Kill / Saratoga Trainyard
I haven’t been in years, but used to be a few miles of trails and mud behind the train yard running north of the tracks.
Warren County Route 30 / Route 10 / Schroon River Rd
Not off road, but just a gorgeous country road that runs mostly parallel to the thruway, but has a few gravel sections you can detour too and great riverside views.
Mechanicville Reservoir / Powerlines
Always a good chance with powerline access roads, “public” use may or may not apply. But I know atleast a good chunk of these are open to snowmobiles during winter, so good chance.
Class 4 Roads
Always a great place to start, here’s the unpaved rural routes > 5 miles with low (like none) traffic.
